Become a Psychology Guest Faculty member at a prestigious, residential, coeducational liberal arts college. (16860 hits)


Sarah Lawrence College invites applications for two half-time or one full time guest faculty position(s) in Psychology starting at the end of August 2018. We are looking for a dynamic teacher scholar with interdisciplinary interests who could offer open-level and intermediate seminars and/or lectures and help students develop research and writing skills in addition to the material of the discipline. We would be especially interested in social and/or developmental psychologists who can cover material on the intersections of gender, race, and s*xuality and cognitive and/or clinical psychologists who can cover material in neuroscience, clinical psychology, and cognitive psychology. The successful candidate will teach two to four courses, one or two in the fall and one or two in spring, and will meet biweekly with each student individually to work on a project culminating in an extended final paper. PhD in hand by the time of appointment is preferred, but ABDs with some teaching experience will be considered.
