Litigation Paralegal - Downtown Los Angeles (JN -112024-382241)
Prominent law firm in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join their growing office. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 - 7+ years of experience with civil litigation and eDiscovery and proficiency with second generation eDiscovery Platforms (e.g. Relativity). The Litigation Paralegal's responsibilities include: - Preparing for and supporting attorneys during trials
- Propounding and responding to discovery,
- Drafting pleadings, motions, subpoenas, etc.
- Running searches for attorneys on investigations, preparations, and trial prep
- Preparing and running document productions
- Liaise with forensic document production vendors
Qualifications: - Minimum of 7+ years of civil litigation defense experience, preferably in a mid-size or large firm environment
- Experience with second generation E-Discovery platforms such as Relativity or DISCO
- Paralegal Certificate or BPC 6450 compliant Declaration required
- Experience supporting attorneys during trial (manning the war room, running exhibits, etc.)
