Sr. Software Engineer - Java (JN -122024-384830)

Title: Sr. Software Engineer - Java
Location: San Jose, CA / Hybrid
Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
* Maintain a fault-tolerant, scalable, and distributed enterprise software system.
* Write code that is performant, secure, maintainable, clear, and concise.
* Improve the reliability and efficiency of our core systems.
* Code primarily in Java

Requirements
* Bachelor's in Computer Science or related area.
* 7 years of professional software development experience.
* Strong knowledge and experience with Java Spring Framework and associated technologies.
* Knowledge of software design patterns and algorithms.
* Experience developing high quality, production ready software in Java.
* Knowledge of UI frameworks such as Angular JS / React / Vue is a plus.
* Experience developing in Python is a plus.
* Strong experience developing on Linux platforms.
* Experience in systems analysis and modular design.
* Proficient in Version Control, specifically Git, GitHub (nice to have).
* Proficient in Modern build automation tools.
* Strong communication and writing skills.
* A team player. Ability to collaborate with remote development teams.
* Ability to work independently, understand and modify complex systems.
* Ability to write clean code, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
