1. Post-Operative Accountabilities: At the conclusion of each case and as directed by departmental policy and procedure, participates in the training/ orientation of new staff members to the operating room setting. Readies anesthesia equipment for subsequent use.
2. Operative Procedure Accountabilities: Applies all equipment used in the operative care of the anesthetized patient and performs all duties at the direction of the Anesthesiologist, Nurse Anesthetists staff (CRNA), manager or lead technician. Applies all equipment used in the operative care of the anesthetized patient and
3. Pre-Operative Accountabilities: Acts as a member of the Anesthesia team by preparing the patient/ machine interface for the delivery of anesthesia and the management of the patient during surgery. Assist in the sterile and aseptic preparation of the patient for the placement of the pulmonary artery, central venous and arterial and venous monitoring lines.
