What Quality Control contributes to Cardinal Health
Quality develops and implements quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications.
Quality Control is responsible for the analysis or inspection of materials, components, products or processes for compliance with specifications and standards. Responsibilities - Performs various microbiological testing such as environmental monitoring of cleanrooms, endotoxin testing, and microbial enumeration.
- Operates equipment, performs analytical tests, interprets results and documents findings in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Performs investigations, deviations, change controls and CAPAs.
- Authors standard operating procedures, forms, and other documents as necessary and applicable.
- Performs special projects or tasks as necessary based on skill set and/or development goals and business needs
- Supports department compliance and productivity goals
- Assists with the general upkeep of the microbiology laboratories, supplies, and equipment.
Qualifications - 2-4 years of experience, preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
