When you grow, we grow.</p><p></p><p><b> Heres just some of what you can look forward to:</b></p><ul><li><b>Weekly Pay: </b>Get paid every weekso that you can manage your money on your terms.</li><li><b> Free BJs Memberships: </b>Enjoy a complimentary The Club Card Membership, plus a free Supplemental Membership for someone in your household.*</li><li><b>Generous Paid Time Off: </b>Take the time you need with vacation, personal, sick days, holidays, bereavement, and jury duty leave.*</li><li><b>Flexible and Affordable Health Benefits: </b>Choose from three medical plans, and access optional dental, vision, Health Savings Account (HSA), and flexible spending account options to fit your lifestyle.*</li><li><b>401(k) Retirement Savings Plan: </b>Build your financial future with a company match (available to team members 18 and older).*</li><li><b>Employee Stock Purchase Plan:</b> Accumulate funds through after-tax payroll deductions that can be used to purchase shares of BJs common stock at a 15% discount.*</li></ul><p></p><p>*Eligibility requirements vary by position.</p><p> Job Summary:</p><p>As a Receiving Clerk, you will effectively and efficiently complete receiving processes, to include verification of receiving documents, proper data entry of product being received and effective document management.</p><p></p><p> Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Communicate with inbound drivers</li><li>Verify documentation for product received, Bills of Lading, and receiving documentation (Warehouse receiving documents, purchase orders, date codes, pallet verification report, and receiving exception report)</li><li>Notify Supervisor of major discrepancies, before product is received</li><li>Properly document inbound carriers in Receiving Log</li><li>Post receive purchase orders</li><li>Prepare the Receiving Exception Report daily</li><li>Coordinate with receiver and unloader on priority of Dock Door assignments and driver contact</li><li>Assist with collection of freight handling fees, late delivery fees, check approvals for these amounts and issue receipts</li><li>Compile end of shift receiving/inventory debrief</li><li>Check APT to ensure team members time and performance are accurate</li><li>Properly document outbound trailers in shipping log</li><li>Promptly report damage and all inventory discrepancies</li><li>Maintain all food safety, housekeeping, and other applicable standards</li><li>Cross-train to cover Shipping Clerk functions as needed</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p></p><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED. College coursework, continuing technical education or comparable business experience is a plus</li><li>Receiving or warehouse experience preferred</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred</li><li>Accuracy and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to use email, word-processing, spreadsheets, WMS and other applications</li><li>Ability to accommodate flexible schedules to meet the needs of the member to include nights, weekends, and holidays</li></ul><p></p><p>Environmental Job Conditions:</p><ul><li>Independently lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. occasionally</li><li>Sit, stand, walk bend, squat on a frequent to continual basis in a refrigerated warehouse environment</li><li>Grasp, reach, push or pull (such as boxes of product, or a hand truck) on a frequent basis</li><li>Endurance for continuous, fast paced work</li><li>Fluctuating temperatures within the perishable DC including freezing temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit</li><li>Able to work while wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the job (such as steel-toed protective footwear, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, insulated clothing, etc)</li><li>Products may contain food allergens (such as fish, shellfish, peanuts, etc.)</li><li>Utilize equipment for the job safely and accurately after training (such as computer, handheld tracker, copiers, scanners, printers, radio headsets, etc.</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p> In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJs Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
