International Tax Analyst
As the International Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for preparation of Best Buy's international tax filings. You will interact with internal and external tax, finance, and accounting professionals to ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlines with the company's tax filings worldwide making a difference to the bottom-line of the company. A successful candidate will have an aptitude for working in various software, be able to multitask, prioritize, be organized, and have a willingness to learn and ask questions!
This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process
What You'll Do- Preparation of U.S. federal income tax adjustments and filings (e.g., Forms 1118, 5471, 8858).
- Preparation of various U.S. federal tax calculations (e.g., Subpart F, NCTI, FDDEI, BEAT).
- Preparation of foreign income tax filings.
- Calculation of foreign estimated income tax payments.
- Preparation of the U.S. and foreign income tax provisions.
- Support the U.S. and foreign income tax income tax audits.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with corporate partners and external service providers.
Minimum Qualifications- 2+ years of income tax compliance experience within a public accounting firm or large corporate tax department
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications- CPA
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
