Work you'll do
We are looking for an expert level React.js Developer who possesses extensive full stack experience, particularly in API development and Docker integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications, ensuring seamless integration with backend services, and deploying applications using Docker.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop responsive web applications using React.js.
- Implement and maintain robust, scalable, and secure APIs and backend systems using Python.
- Integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
- Leverage automation tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to implement new features efficiently.
- Utilize Docker for containerization and deployment of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack.
The successful candidate will possess
- Expert level proficiency in React.js and its core principles.
- Strong experience with full stack development, including Node.js, Express, or similar frameworks.
- Proven experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Proficient in version control systems, such as Git.
- Solid understanding of front-end build tools and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in web development.
- Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,600-198,400.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
