Clinical Instructor, Pediatric Cardiology
The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Cardiology, at the University of Virginias (UVA) School of Medicine, seeks candidates for a tenure-ineligible Clinical Instructor position for a Summer 2026 start date.
The Fellowship will include additional training related to pulmonary hypertension, cardiomyopathy, heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation. After the trainee is finished with this fellowship they will be qualified to assume a position in the field without additional training. This training will occur under the supervision of our pediatric cardiologists. This trainee will be a board-eligible pediatric cardiologist and will conduct general cardiology clinic weekly, call and inpatient service independently two weeks during the fellowship year.
The Clinical Instructor will actively participate in multi-disciplinary conferences as well as in daily teaching activities through interactions with residents, medical students and clinical faculty.
