The Chemical Production Technician I is responsible for manufacturing production batches of media following Phenomenex SOPs, company policies and other guidelines.

This position reports to the Sr. Production Manager, Media Manufacturing and is part of the Manufacturing & Operations located in Torrance, CA and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Carries out processing steps in a batch manufacturing environment by operating production equipment and using sound judgement as needed. This may include assisting with in-process testing to assure batches meet specifications.

  • Weighs, measures and adds raw materials to ensure batches contain correct materials and quantities.

  • Maintain records and work area to comply with SOPs, company policies, cGMP and ISO 9001 requirements.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High School Diploma or GED

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Advanced degree or training in Chemistry or other technical field

  • Experience with chemical handling

The hourly range for this role is $23.00 - $25.00 per hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
