Medicaid Systems Transition Manager

You will play a crucial role in upgrading Medicaid Management Information Systems.Serve as liaison to the customer for design, development, implementation, and certification, as well as maintenance, modification, and enhancement activities during transitionsCollaborate with other teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration of services. Follow all approved plans, procedures, and protocol guidesManage project and scope coordination during development, deployment, integration and certificationProject scheduling and provision of resourcesLead other project managers during transitionsWHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEEDBring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Systems Engineering Manager must have:Five (5) or more years of IT experience, including at four (4) years of experience managing multi-supplier projects, or similar complex integration efforts, preferably on state government contracts. Two (2) years of experience with Medicaid Enterprise Certification Toolkit, Outcomes Based Certification, Streamlined Modular Certification, or related certification effortsWorking knowledge of Medicaid Transformation Initiative, Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) 3.0, and the CMS Seven Standards and ConditionsBachelors degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a related field; or equivalent work experiencePMP Certification or equivalent Additional Information: Work Arrangements: Remote. Travel 20-50%. Security: A background check will be required. Timeline: This is a contingent job posting. Work is not expected to begin until December 2026 or later.
