We are hiring for 2nd shift! • 2nd shift can start at 1:54pm, 3:05 pm or 4:00 pm *Exact shift times vary by building and assignment, and overtime may be available or required. • Pay: $20.26*/hour *This includes a $1.50 shift differential from the $18.76 pay for 1st shift<h2></h2><h2>Position</h2>2026 Grad to Hire - Manufacturing Operator at Appliance Park<h2></h2><h2>Location</h2>USA, Louisville, KY<h2>How You'll Create Possibilities</h2>Join the GE Appliances team in a high-energy, production facility environment, as an essential Grad to Hire team member!Why join our team? <ul><li>Paid weekly </li><li>Transportation partnership with Lyft </li><li>Medical, dental and vision benefits starting day one</li><li>Tuition reimbursement and career development</li><li>Paid vacation, holiday and personal time</li><li>Paid parental leave</li><li>And, so much more! </li></ul>What you will experience at GE Appliances: Our production operators are responsible for operating various pieces of equipment in our factories to assemble our products – dishwashers, refrigerators, clothes washers, and dryers to name a few.  Operators work on assembly lines and handle parts to transfer, operate, or adjust the production equipment all while doing this in a fast-paced team environment and adhering to safety rules, regulations, and equipment requirements.<h2>What You'll Bring to Our Team</h2>Minimum Requirements:<ul><li>Must be 17 years of age or older and a 2026 JCPS high school graduate</li><li>Be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction </li><li>Be able to understand verbal and written instructions in English </li><li>Pass a background check, drug screening and complete and pass a medical health questionnaire </li><li>You must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without an accommodation, including, but not limited to: <ul><li>Stand for prolonged periods of time, handle various parts for assembly, walk distances, reach at waist level, push/pull, grasp/squeeze/pinch parts </li><li>Have fine motor dexterity and be able to use air tools </li><li>Be able to reach overhead, reach at shoulder, knee and floor level </li><li>Bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, crawl, climb a ladder or stairs, pivot, twist, extend and rotate your neck, and use vibratory tools </li><li>Handle and lift parts and/or equipment of 42 pounds and push/pull equipment of 40 pounds </li><li>Work on and around heavy machinery in a loud environment </li><li>Follow work rules, using judgement, and working quickly and efficiently to meet work deadlines, even under stressful conditions </li><li>Function independently and maintain attention and concentration </li><li>Be able to relate predictability in social situations, to coworkers, and to complex and simple job instructions and processes that may be written or verbal</li></ul></li></ul>Additional Job Details: Basic Technology skills will be needed to utilize company systems to independently complete onboarding and basic HR tasks on electronic devices with or without accommodation.We want you to make it at the Park!
