The Calibration and Preventive Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all equipment is consistently operating at optimal performance. This position reports to the Calibration and Preventive Maintenance Supervisor and is part of the Calibration and Preventive Maintenance Department located in New Brighton, MN and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Calibration & Preventive Maintenance: Perform and coordinate calibration and preventive maintenance, including part replacements and equipment setup, while maintaining accurate Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and equipment history records. Troubleshooting & Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production operations. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to support continuous improvement by identifying equipment issues and recommending solutions.
The essential requirements of the job include: Education & Experience: Associates Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering and/or 25 years of maintenance and/or calibration experience in a medical or manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of calibration standards such as NIST and ISO 17025.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to lift 30 lbs., use ladder, and stand or walk for extended periods. Follow safety practices including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Technical Writing: Creating, updating, and maintaining processes and procedures. Validation: Supporting and executing IQ/OQ/PQ activities.

This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
