Laboratory Technician - Lubbock, TX
This is an non-exempt level position.

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Operations Tech to support our cottonseed processing plant. This role is responsible for assisting with quality control laboratory testing of cottonseed products, and providing administrative support for lab operations. This position requires the ability to work across office, lab, and production environments.

Job Responsibilities:
Laboratory Support:
  • Perform routine quality testing on cottonseed, oil, meal, and byproducts (moisture, oil content, etc.)
  • Accurately record and maintain lab results
  • Assist with calibration and maintenance of lab equipment
  • Follow quality and safety standards (GMP, HACCP as applicable)
  • Maintain inventory of lab supplies
Administrative:
  • Support plant operations with reporting, data entry, product shipping paperwork and documentation
  • Maintain production, quality, and compliance records.
  • Assist with audits, safety trainings, and internal communications.
